Daman has been able to record 35 growth in tourist arrival in the last four years. About 6.5 Lac tourist came to Daman during 2002-03, it is expected to touch the one million mark by 2005.The commencement of flights to and from Daman can further boost the share of foreign tourists. The town has very good infrastructure facilities, easy accessibility by road and rail and the hotel industry is geared up and professional enough to offer the best facilities to the tourists.

There is everything a traveller looks for: beautiful beaches of Devka with its amusements park and the Jampore Portuguese forts, churches and Hindu temples, boating and water parks, wining and dining and the exotic sea food and meeting facilities for Corporate. The neighboring silvassa (40-KM) with its abundant natural beauty, gardens and resorts is yet another popular gateway.
